Buying a home!

What do you do when you decide to purchase a home?

Hire an agent who you feel can represent your needs able to negotiate your wants! 

Talk with a lender about your finances. Do this before even looking at a home.  You need to know how much you can spend, and ultimately what you want to spend on a home.  (If you don't know of one, I have many names and numbers of professionals who would be happy to help you and explain the process.)

Obtain a pre-qualification letter from your lender.  Have this ready so when you find "the one",  you can make an offer!  You will need this pre-qualification letter to accompany any offer you make. (I really need you to have this before we go "shopping"!!)

Then we find your home!!  Remember, your agent can answer any questions and help you with any home on the market, and will be able to guide you along the way. Call, text, or email me with any questions

Buying your home, what's next!!

You found your home!!!

This is when you need to hire your lawyer; again, your agent should be able to supply you with several to choose from if you need them to!

A structural will need to be done, this is when you hire a professional to come to your new home to inspect it for structural stability, insects, radon, all of the mechanics of your new home, as well as insignificant items to know about to address or not.  You will receive a report of everything the inspector finds so that you can move forward with confidence. Your agent (hopefully me!)  will also supply you with several structural professionals to interview if needed.

Once your attorney approves the contract, the structure has passed inspection, and you will be working with your lender to close on your home. You will have many professionals helping you along the way! My goal is to make sure your experience, whether buying or selling or both, is made to be seamless with the least amount of stress as possible.  Best of luck in your venture into home ownership!
